Cash on Delivery
“Cash On Delivery” is a hilarious farce by Michael Cooney. Michael obviously inherited the skills of his famous actor/playwright father, Ray Cooney who directed the first West End production in 1996.
This was a fast moving comedy about benefit fraud combining a traditional British bawdiness with numerous twists and turns as characters leap to assumptions, are forced to pretend to be things they aren’t and talk at cross purposes – all to hilarious effect. The play includes multiple impersonations, an escaping corpse, cross-dressing and an exploding washing machine!
