Irrepressibly British!

For our Spring Production on 22nd, 23rd and 24th April we presented two one act plays: Lifeboat by Nicola McCartney, and Dad’s Army – The Deadly Attachment by Jimmy Perry and David Croft.

Lifeboat and Dad’s Army are both about courage, survival and enduring friendship. Together, they produced an evening of entertainment that was extremely well received.

Lifeboat was our entry for the Elmbridge Drama Festival where we won through to the quarter finals of the All England competition. Lifeboat was also our entry for the 2010 Leatherhead Drama Festival with Millie Hart and Samantha Myers jointly winning the Best Actress Award.

The Deadly Attachment is one of the funniest and most acclaimed episodes from the Dad’s Army series in which the Walmington on Sea home guard comes face to face with a stranded U-Boat crew.

We are proud to support  Help for Heroes – supporting those injured in current conflicts. £1 from every ticket sold was donated to H4H. More information on H4H here.
